About Steve Dunlop

Steve Dunlop
I want to begin by saying that I am a practical environmentalist. I am one person on planet earth trying to make a difference.  I have always had a problem with needless waste and pollution but never really realized that certain areas of my lifestyle were (and still are to some degree) harmful to the environment. I have an economy car (although I walk to work).  I also eat hamburgers and drink coffee out of disposable cups. I will admit that when I began to do research and write articles for nexplanrecycling.com it made me more aware of the issues facing our planet and how I can do my part in reducing waste and help saving our environment.

Living in New Brunswick, Canada, where I have lived all my entire 40 some years, the word global warming exited me at first thinking that we might have a warmer climate here. When you have -30 degree wind-chills in the winter, that is not a bad thing is it?  But it is all the other things that come with global warming like famines, droughts, floods, weather extremes like hurricanes and so on that threaten our planet. That's why I wish to do my part and to write articles on this website. I need to practice what I write about.  I am not nor do I want to be hypocritical on these issues.

Besides doing articles on environmental issues, I work in the Information Technology field.  I like outdoor activities like hiking and camping.  I love nature and want a clean environment to enjoy all nature has to offer in its purest form.
